About

Food Stamp (SNAP) recipients ages 16-59, Skillup is here to offer free help. Skillup is a voluntary program to help food stamp recipients get free help with skills, training, and employer connections to get a job, or a better job! Skillup coaches know employers who are ready to hire you!

Do you want to go to a training? Skillup can pay for the training that you can't afford. A variety of classes are offered that work around your schedule and can be finished in as little as a few weeks. Employers are waiting to hire students as soon as training is finished.

If you need help with your resume, we can help! If you want help on answering those tough interview questions, we can help with that too!

We believe everyone can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Mission

We will lead the nation in building the capacity of individuals, families, and communities to secure and sustain healthy, safe, and productive lives.

Testimonial

"As a recently single mom of four, I was struggling to find help with my family. Within a year, I was done with classes, clinicals and have gotten hired on at a great medical office. I love what I do  now and with out this program, I don’t think I’d be able to work with the prices of child care."
